This dish is a century-old Chinese influenced dish that contains bursts of sweet and salty flavours. The star of it all, “Chinese five-spiced powder” is available at stores but can be made inside your Thermomix. Best served with steamed rice or noodle and poached vegetables alongside, like bok choy or kale. The chilli itself will add a tangy flavour to the dish and enhance the other ingredients, however, you can use milder chillies as well.
