Egg and pork belly stew or kai paloh is a dish from my childhood memory. It is still my favorite dish until now. The flavoured hard boiled egg and tender pork belly in aromatic sweet and salty broth goes well with just steamed rice. I prefer to cook it a day in advance and let the flavour develop further overnight. But it also delicious to eat on the day you cook.
